Mutual exchange process is now done online
We’re making changes to the way we process mutual exchanges. Previously, mutual exchanges involved filling in lots of paper forms and often a long wait while these were processed.
Now, we’re pleased to be using SwapTracker from HomeSwapper to manage all our mutual exchange applications.
Sarah Lowe, Lettings Manager, said: “Customers will be familiar with HomeSwapper, and SwapTracker is an element of that system for us to use to manage mutual exchanges.
“When a customer has found an exchange, they can fill the forms in online and the process will be managed online in a quicker time than when everything was done on paper.
“Another benefit of registering with HomeSwapper and us using SwapTracker is that you’re able to filter out anyone looking for an exchange who may have rent arrears or isn’t eligible for whatever reason, avoiding any avoidable issues with the process.

“For those who don’t have internet access, we’ll still accept paper applications for a mutual exchange but, where possible, we’d encourage customers to use the online platform.”
There’s also an app available to make finding a mutual exchange even easier. Download the HomeSwapper Matches app from your app store and browse all the homes on the platform using the search options.
You can also add photos of your property and view images of others as well as receive notifications to keep you updated on what’s available in your area.
