How do I apply?
In most cases, you will need to apply, using our online application form.
With some other roles, you will need to fill in our paper application form and either email it or send it through the post to HR Shared Services department.
Do I need to fill out all of the sections on the application form?
The more information you provide the easier it is for us to assess whether you are the right person for the job.
What else will I need to complete the form?
The job description and person specification will help you tailor your application to the vacancy. Try to demonstrate how your experiences and attributes relate to the role you are applying for.
Do you accept CVs?
Unfortunately, we do not accept CVs, please use the online application form.
Can I apply for more than one job?
If your skills and experience match more than one vacancy, you are welcome to apply for as many that interest you.
Do you acknowledge receipt of my application form?
As a result of the volume of applicants currently being received, we regret that it will not be possible to respond to every applicant. We will only contact you if you are selected for an interview. If you are successful, we will contact you via email (please check your spam/junk folder).
If you have not received a response to your application by two days before the advertised interview date, you can assume that your application has been unsuccessful.
I have a disability – will I need to disclose details?
Please make us aware of any special requirements, you may need should you be invited to interview. There is a section on the application form for this.
I do not have a UK work permit, will you still accept my application?
You will need a valid UK work permit to work at Amplius.
When will I find out if I have been selected for interview?
The selection process will not begin before the application deadline. If you have been selected for an interview, we will usually contact you by email (please check your spam/junk folder) and aim to provide at least a week’s notice.
Can I attend an interview outside of working hours (9am-5pm)?
All of our interviews take place during working hours (9am – 5pm). We are unable to conduct the process outside of these hours.
Can I specify my preference for a morning or afternoon interview?
If you would prefer a morning or afternoon interview, please make us aware on your application form and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Will I need to bring any documents along?
You will need to bring proof of your identity and right to work in the UK, for example an EU passport or birth certificate.
If you hold a non-EU passport, you will also need to provide evidence that you are able to work in the UK by providing a NI number, work permit or visa).
Do I need to provide references?
Please provide references from the last three years. We will only contact your referees if you are appointed to the post.
What other information do I have to provide?
Depending on the nature of the post, you may be asked to complete a Criminal Convictions Disclosure as part of your application. Anything stated in this disclosure will be discussed at interview if relevant. If you are appointed to the role, you may then have to complete a DBS check.
