‘Together for Everyone’ Working Group member
Our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (E, D&I) working group will look to ensure that services, policies, and decision-making are fair, inclusive, and responsive to our diverse communities.
Our working group members will act as a vital collaborator to Amplius, advising on how well we meet obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and wider social responsibility.
Key responsibilitiesÂ
- Review policies and procedures to ensure they promote equality and remove barriers.
- Monitor performance data, complaints and customer feedback through an E, D&I lens.
- Advise on communication methods to ensure accessibility and inclusivity.
- Champion the voices of underrepresented and marginalised communities.
Skills and qualities needed
- Commitment to fairness and inclusion - Respect confidentiality and diversity of opinion
- Open-mindedness – the ability to listen and understand different perspectives and experiences shared by customers, not just personal experience.Â
- Team player – works well with other tenants, staff, and board members.
- Integrity – respects confidentiality and acts responsibly.
Time commitment
A minimum of 8 meetings per year (plus preparation time). Occasional involvement in training, service reviews, or policy working groups.Â
