• We in Longhurst Group believe that the health and safety of our customers, employees, and partners is of paramount importance.
• Our goal is to continually improve health and safety performance by working in partnership across the organisation.
• We will ensure that we have a robust health and safety management system implemented that strives for continual improvement in our processes and operations.
• We are committed to embedding a positive health and safety culture through engagement with our employees and other partners.
• We will ensure that all our employees receive the instruction, information, training and supervision to carry out their work safely and are made aware of their responsibilities for contributing to a safe and healthy working environment.
• We will work in partnership with our contractors (and other similar groups) to ensure that they contribute positively to our health and safety performance.
• We recognise the importance of communication of our performance both internally and to our external stakeholders and we will openly report our health and safety performance to the Group Board.
• We will work with the relevant Regulatory bodies and other external organisations to identify appropriate areas of best practice and deliver safe services to our customers.
• We will seek to continually learn from our own experiences by reviewing and auditing our performance and ensuring that lessons learned are acted upon, with colleagues acting with empathy and professionalism.
