Helping us with a new name for a new organisation

If Longhurst Group’s proposed merger with Grand Union goes ahead, we’ll need a new name and brand for the new organisation.

We’d need to change the name for legal reasons, and this would give us an opportunity to create a new brand and a new logo.

To ensure we come up with a name and brand that truly represents both organisations, our customers and our aims for the future, we want to hear the views of Longhurst Group customers, so we’ve created a survey to find out what you think.

The survey has 11 questions and looks to explore what customers think Longhurst Group does well, how we can improve and your thoughts on our current brand and what you’d like to see in the future.

Our customer consultation about the proposed merger closed on Wednesday, 4 September.

We'd like to thank everyone who took part in the consultation for their valuable feedback, particularly the insight provided about the areas we need to improve.

All the feedback we received will be shared with the Boards of both organisations before a final decision is made.

Understanding how our customers feels about these proposals is a very important part of this process.

We'll share our findings from the consultation and the themes that emerged when we communicate the next steps of the proposed merger to our customers.
