Longhurst Group to hold virtual launch event for Ellison Place development in Lincoln

Prospective new customers will have the chance to find out more about our Ellison Place development in Lincoln through a virtual launch event.

With the Coronavirus and government restrictions causing plans for a public launch event to be cancelled, we have organised the digital alternative via Facebook Live.

People will be able to log on and ask colleagues from our Sales Team any questions they have about the development – on the site of the old dairy in the city – and to discover the price list for the homes.

The launch will take place on the Group’s Find a Home Facebook page from 11am on Thursday, 30 April.

Our mantra is that if we wouldn’t live in them, we just wouldn’t build them, so we’re confident that we have something to offer everyone who is interested in making Ellison Place their home.

Marketing and Campaigns Manager, Connar O’Keeffe, said being able to run the event via Facebook Live would allow our Sales Team to still be able to interact with those interested in the development, without any of the risks associated to coronavirus.

He said: “We have seen an increase in interest of our affordable homes ever since the official lockdown was implemented by the government.

“We had planned to hold a public launch event, but with mass gatherings banned and social distancing enforced, it was really important for us to find alternative ways of keeping these people up-to-date.

“Colleagues from the Sales Team will be available to answer questions from anyone who’s interested in Ellison Place and we’ll also be revealing the price list for the homes that are soon to be released to market.

“We’re looking forward to hosting our first digital launch event and believe it will be a great opportunity for those looking to find out more about Ellison Place to get the information they want.”

Alison Parry, New Homes Officer, will be one of the colleagues broadcasting live during the virtual launch.

She said: “Everyone involved in this project is really excited about trying new ways of promoting our new developments and we hope it proves valuable to people interested in finding out more about Ellison Place.

“We’ve already had a lot of people registering their interest in the digital launch on our Facebook event and expect plenty of interest on the day.

“We’ll be on hand to talk about Ellison Place, the pricing of the homes and to answer any questions that people may have about Shared Ownership, the reservation process or any details they would like clarifying about the development.
