Longhurst Group's Communications Team wins another award

Longhurst Group’s Communications Team is celebrating after scooping an industry award. 

We were named the Communications Team of the Year at the Peterborough Regional PR & Media Awards 2019. 

The awards recognise the successes and excellent work being done by businesses and organisations that make Peterborough the great place that it is.

The win follows the team’s success at the 24housing awards in October, where they took home the same award. 

Director of Communications, Jon Reeves, said: “The team has contributed some absolutely fantastic work this year and we’re extremely proud of everything we’ve achieved. Winning this award in addition to the accolade we received at the 24housing awards in October is testament to the team’s hard work, creativity and dedication. 

“Every single member of the Communications Team has played a massive part in this success but we couldn’t have done it without the support of so many colleagues across the organisation.

“It’s always a real boost to receive external recognition for our work, and awards represent an excellent opportunity for us to continue raising the Group’s profile and shouting about the great work that everybody at Longhurst Group does to improve people’s lives.” 

We recently launched its Improving Lives 2025 strategy at the Kingsgate Conference Centre in Peterborough, pledging to do even more to improve the lives of our customers. 

In addition to providing more affordable homes in the area over the next six years, the Group will also better support customers’ health and wellbeing and economic resilience.
