Proposed new consumer standards consultation is now live

Customers are being encouraged to take part in a consultation to have their say on the Government’s proposed new consumer standards.

The proposals are standards that registered providers will be required to meet so that tenants can be assured they’re living in safe, quality homes, have choice and protection and can hold their landlords to account.

They’re due to come into force from 1 April 2024.

Before the new standards are confirmed, customers are being given the chance to have their say and have their opinions heard.
