Residential care for people living with a physical disability

We offer specialist residential care in Lincoln to people with physical disabilities.

Our care home is integrated into a pleasant residential area by the river Witham, close to the amenities of Lincoln.

You'll be encouraged to make your room your own, to reflect what's important to you and we'll support you to be as independent as you can be.

Support is available in all aspects of daily living, including:

  • Maximising income
  • Accessing independent advocacy
  • Shopping
  • Budgeting
  • Household chores
  • Personal care
  • Promoting effective non-verbal communication including digital systems
  • Management of medication
  • Support with any health conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy and anxiety.
  • Being safe and managing risk including the use of assistive technology
  • Accessing education, training, voluntary or paid work.

We encourage the use of assistive technologies to support independence and wherever appropriate, to minimise the reliance on care and support services. If eligible, customers may be funded by their local authority for assistive technology.

The focus for this particular support is to really get to know you as a person, understanding how you want to be supported, what is important to you and what you want to achieve.

This helps us offer you a tailored, outcome-focused care and support plan, which is as individual as you are. In this way, we work with you to make your aims a reality, including objectives such as; promoting health and well-being, accessing community facilities, staying connected with friends, family, hobbies and interests, learning new skills etc.

The home is fully equipped and accessible for wheelchair users, with aids and adaptations to support a range of physical needs. Residents are encouraged to be fully involved in the day-to-day running and future development of the service and friends and family are always welcome.

When living at one of our care homes, you'll be supported by highly trained, dedicated and caring staff. You'll be allocated a key worker who will work closely with you to ensure that we're meeting your assessed needs, and supporting you to work towards your personal goals and aspirations in the way that's right for you.
