Carers

We're committed to supporting carers, and those who need care, in all aspects of what we do

Carers

Harry's Pledge logoWe're committed to supporting carers and those who need care in all aspects of what we do.

We've recently joined with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), National Housing Federation (NHF) and PlaceShapers - supported by Carers UK, Inside Housing and our founding partner Harry's Pals - to make a renewed commitment to carers.

Harry’s Pledge focuses on four areas where we can support those who need care and those who provide it. These areas are:

  1. Being supportive employers to people that have caring responsibilities.
  2. Making offices and community spaces as accessible as possible.
  3. Building more fully-accessible homes.
  4. Further professionalising and promoting care as a career, and lobbying for changes in pay and rewards for carers.

We're determined to continue to provide the support needed by carers and those who need care.

Carer’s UK Digital Resource for Carers

Carer's UK logoWe've teamed up with Carers UK to bring you the Digital Resource for Carers, an online platform hosting a wide range of digital tools and essential resources to help make caring easier.

These resources have been developed by carers for carers and include e-Learning courses, essential reading guides and free access to Carers UK’s Jointly app.

Caring for a loved one who's ill, disabled or older can be valuable and rewarding, but without the right support, caring can have an impact on your health, your job, your finances and your social life.
